The application of tiles is very straight forward, and very similar to laying on traditional Fibre Cement for water proofing and adhesion of tiles.
The testing performed by NZ waterproofing suppliers confirms that the porous nature of the board in which their systems prime, should always be applied prior to waterproofing or the application of tile adhesive. A manufacturers surface preparation, prior to applying primers, must be abided by.
Surtec warrants the use of Technokolla waterproofing and tiling products over DragonBoard MGS04.
The below specification is for internal wet and dry applications for walls and floors and the suitability of floor levelling compound over DragonBoard MGS04. Importantly, DragonBoard MGS04 must be primed with a Technokolla Primer.

MBP can warrant onto Maglok’s Dragonboard provided the surface of the board is sanded, washed and allowed to dry prior to being primed with either Eco Prim Grip or Mapeprim SP primers.
MBP warrants the product performance of Mapei products to Maglok Dragonboard substrates at up to 600c joist spacings.
